Dis handover happen on Tuesday when dem gather for one meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) for INEC Headquarters for Abuja.
As we sabi am, Professor Yakubu don finish him two-term tenure of 10 years, wey start since 2015. Na big koko for Nigeria as him don lead the electoral wahala since him appointment by former President Muhammadu Buhari. Agbamuche, aaah! She be the oldest serving National Commissioner for INEC, and we dey hope say she go fit carry the waka well.
For dis meeting, Yakubu talk say him don hand over to May and e dey beg all the commissioners and officers make dem support her until dem fit appoint who go take over well. Na serious matter, we no fit japa now wey transition dey hot.
Meanwhile, wait o! Na serious gists on top the streets as e dey look like President Bola Tinubu go soon announce new person wey go take over from Yakubu. Pipo dey jostle for who go fit sit down for that hot chair (im na wah!).

Last month, Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) don drop letter for the President, make e shed light on how dem go choose the new INEC chairman!
