Wife of former Rivers State governor, Dame Judith Amaechi, don land serious wahala for Nyesom Wike matter as she sharply deny wetin e talk say she dey collect N4 billion every month from Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). She run am through her media aide, Dike Bekwele, wey come drop one hot statement on Tuesday.
Wike, wey be Minister for Federal Capital Territory, don earlier accuse Mrs. Amaechi say she dey chop this money through her NGO, Empowerment Support Initiative (ESI). Wetin Wike talk for Channels Television fit make person wonder say e dey high or wetin, as him no bring any proof. Im even tell President Bola Tinubu make e publish NDDC forensic audit report wey fit show all the people wey collect money dere.
But Judith no gree swallow the gist, she come hot back say Wike claim na big big lie, wild and koko for dem political games. She go further, ask Wike to bring out the forensic audit report if truly her name dey for there for any bad news.
“We dey challenge Wike to show us the forensic audit report wey show wetin he dey talk about,” Judith talk. “If e no fit do am, make e resign sharp sharp and apologize to the country for all the noise wey e don make.” (See how she dey ready for fight, no be small!)
According to the statement wey Judith release, Wike dey use fake allegations to blackmail am and ESI for his political gain. She explain say ESI dey operate as proper NGO since 2011, and dem dey partner with NDDC for capacity building programs, helping the youths and women for the Niger Delta region. Na so dem dey work together, no be say dem dey chop N4 billion monthly. (You know how dem sabi twist matter, right?)
Judith fit give Wike some serious side-eye, as she make am clear say all this accusation no get any strong backing. “Wike dey run mouth without any concrete evidence. In her closing remarks, she remind Wike say no be everything be media trial, make him allow the public for NDDC audit report see wetin dey go on.
