Henry Agbebire, wey be the director of public affairs and consumer protection for Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), confirm say the plane no fit move again after e land. E say emergency teams quickly mobilize, as dem no wan waste time for anything wey fit affect passengers. E be like say dem carry fire tenders and doctors come ready.
“No be small thing o! All passengers and crew wey dey for the plane come dey safely disembark and use the apron buses to carry dem go terminal, as evacuation finish without any injury,” Agbebire talk, making sure sey we sabi say nobody get injury. Dem finish the evacuation around 7:48 p.m.
FAAN no fit talk who own the plane at first, but sources inside Enugu don give small gist say na Enugu Air dey carry the wahala. Dem dey make sure sey the airport dey secure, as everything dey run according to the book.
Dem talk say their first priority na the safety of passengers and crew. Dem also assure say dey go release more updates as soon as dem gather more authoritative information. Everything wey dey happen na standard procedure, wey no wan make anybody panic – even if it’s hard to no panic when you dey inside plane wey dey act up like this.
This incident na just four months after Enugu Air start operation, as dem just launch in July 2025. E be like say the airline don already show sey dem mean business, but this one na one big drama wey nobody dey expect.
