UNIZIK Taqi Alkurumi Ga Sabon VC

Jami’ar Nnamdi Azikiwe (UNIZIK) ta sanar da naɗin sabon Mataimakin Shugaban Jami’a, Professor Bernard Odoh. An sanar da naɗin ne ta hanyar Kwamitin Gudanarwa na jami’ar, wanda Amb. Greg Mbadiwe ya shugabanta, a wani taro da aka yi ranar Talata.

Professor Bernard Odoh, tsohon Sakataren Gwamnatin Jihar Ebonyi, ya samu nasarar zama Mataimakin Shugaban Jami’a na bakwai bayan tsarin zaɓe mai ƙarfi da aka gudanar, inda aka yi wa masu neman mukamin 18 zaɓi. Odoh, wanda ya fito daga Sashen Applied Geophysics a cikin Fakultin Kimiyyar Jirgin Samani, ya nuna ƙwarewar sa ta shekaru da yawa a fannin ilimi, bincike, da gudanarwa a jami’o’i.

An bayar da wasiƙar naɗin ga Odoh, inda aka bayyana cewa naɗin nasa zai fara daga ranar Talata, Oktoba 29, 2024, na tsawon shekaru biyar. A jawabinsa na karba naɗin, Professor Odoh ya bayyana godiya ga Kwamitin Gudanarwa da Tawagar Zaɓen Mataimakin Shugaban Jami’a saboda amana da aka bashi. Ya alakanta yin aiki mai ƙarfi don inganta matsayin jami’ar a fannoni daban-daban.

Odoh, wanda an haife shi a ranar 5 ga Agusta, 1975, a Ezza North LGA, Jihar Ebonyi, ya nuna tarihi mai ƙarfi da UNIZIK. Ya kasance mamba a Majalisar Dattawan Jami’ar daga 2010 zuwa 2014, kuma ya yi aiki a matsayin Mataimakin Musamman ga Mataimakin Shugaban Jami’a kan Harkokin Ilimi daga Yuni zuwa Oktoba 2014. An naɗa shi Farfesa a Jami’ar Tarayya ta Gusau a 2015.

Odoh, wanda ya rubuta karatu da yawa a cikin mujallu na duniya, e-books, da monographs, ya kuma shiga cikin shirye-shirye na duniya da shirye-shirye na gudanarwa. Ya kuma yi aiki a matsayin shugaban Cibiyar Ci gaban Albarkatun Ruwa don Yankin Kudu-Maso Gabas da kuma kula da Tashar Seismic Observatory ta UNIZIK.
