Clinical lecturers at the University of Ilorin have issued a 21-day ultimatum to the university administration, demanding the full implementation of the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS) for all clinical staff. This move, announced by members of the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN), starts from Monday and is aimed at addressing the long-standing issue of salary disparities.
The University of Ilorin, founded in 1975 and located in Ilorin, Kwara State, continues to be a significant educational institution in Nigeria.
