Two pipo don dey in trouble after dem get arrested for tampering with electricity meters in Abia State. The arrest happen on Orji Street, off Umule Road in Aba.
According to reports, the suspects, Mr Isak Adamu and Mr Ude James, were caught after strong evidence show say dem dey involved in energy theft. Mr Isak Adamu, who be electrician, na him dey orchestrate the metre tampering.
The arrest na part of efforts to stop energy theft, which dey affect the supply of electricity and the finances of the power companies.
The authorities hope say dis arrest go serve as warning to others wey dey plan to engage in such illegal activities.
