As dem gather for Naval Dockyard, Victoria Island, Tinubu send his Representative, Senator George Akume, to yan sweet things about Olabode George, wey dey give plenty love to him state – Lagos and di whole country. Tinubu no sit down for ground; him laud George as ‘Lagos boy’ wey be true son of di soil.
Two books wey Chief George don write, ‘Unfiltered: A Chronicle of Selected Speeches’ and ‘Bode George: From Cradle to the Seas to the Podium’, also dey launch that day. Na so we dey appreciate teachers wey tire for di work (Omo, dem no go gree rest).
Plenty governors dey show face, including Seyi Makinde from Oyo, Bala Mohammed from Bauchi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso wey don clean state for Kano. All of dem endorse di truth: Olabode George na big man for him community. Dis party no be joke o, e get plenty respect, as dem dey hail am from all corners.
Tinubu talk say Chief George don serve Nigeria like wetin e no be small. Governor Mohammed also slip in some kind sweet sentiments about George, saying him na inspiration to plenty, while Makinde add say George no be soft person because him na military man originally.
