Suspended Rivers Governor E no Show for Council Election, Wahala Dey!

Port Harcourt, Rivers State – E get one serious gbege wey happen for Rivers State as dem hold local government council election for Saturday. But guess wetin? The suspended governor, Siminalayi Fubara, no show face at all (him don enter London or wetin?). E no even dey for him hometown, Opobo, where the election dey happen. Na wah o!

Some of him loyal followers wey suppose support am, like Chief of Staff Edison Ehie and Secretary Dr. Tammy Danagogo, all of dem carry leg waka. E be like say dem dey run from wahala, no be small. The Simplified Movement wey dey follow Fubara come join dem for this cruise, nobody sabi where dem hide during the election.

As electoral materials land for Fubara’s own unit wey dey Ward 5 around 11am, e be like say dem expect am to show. But alas! The only thing wey dey show na the empty chairs wey nobody dey sit down. Voting no finish until around 3:30pm, and our boy Fubara still dey chill for London!

Dem say e go come back for September 18, when e go fit take back him position, but as e dey be now, nobody sure if e go return. This matter don dey cause plenty gbas gbos for Rivers State, na wetin President Bola Tinubu think when he declare state of emergency last March because of wahala between Fubara and Nyesom Wike.

After Tinubu suspend Fubara and all the elected members, e appoint Vice Admiral Ibok Ete Ibas as administrator wey no get wahala sef. Meanwhile, the local government election wey dem hold, na APC carry 20 seats, while PDP only fill three. Even Wike dey glow as him dey see say him people get representation now.

As Wike cast him vote, e dey smile say Fubara go come back reign when the emergency rule finish. E say the election dey go on smoothly, even though some people dey complain say dem no use BVAS for conduct.

But last last, dem find say people no dey show face for polling units, especially for city areas, while rural areas manage gather small crowd. Ibas even talk say the process dey peaceful, and him dey hope say results go dey credible after all dis wahala.

As for this matter, last last, nobody sabi how e go end. Fubara’s paddy dem dey keep quiet, but some people don talk say make we allow Fubara come back to complete him term. Na wetin dem suppose do, u see this matter? Na wah!
