Students at the College of Health Sciences and Technology in Jega, Kebbi State, don dey protest violently after dem accuse the college management of extortion. Dem claim say the management don collect N23 million from dem illegally.
During the protest, the students stone vehicles and even set the provost’s residence on fire. The situation dey very tense as the students show their anger and frustration.
The incident happen because the students feel say the management no dey transparent with the fees dem dey pay. Dem say the money wey dem pay no dey reflect in the services dem receive from the college.
The authorities for the college and the state government don start investigation into the matter to know the root cause of the problem and how to resolve am.
