Rikicin da ke zuwa game da aikin sabon gyarawa na Refinery na Port Harcourt ta NNPC Limited ta kara girma, bayan wani majalisar zartarwa daga Alesa community stakeholders, Timothy Mgbere, ya zargi cewa samar da man fetur daga refinery ba su ne sababbi ba, amma na kayan da aka ajiye a tankunan adireshin shekaru uku da suka gabata.
Mgbere ya bayyana haka ne a wata hira da ya yi a Arise TV, wanda wakilin mu ya kaiwa. Ya ce refinery ta kasa aikata zirga-zirgar da motoci 200 kamar yadda aka sanar, amma dai sun aiwatar da zirga-zirgar da motoci shida ne kacal a ranar Talata.
Alesa, wata al’umma daga cikin manyan al’ummomi goma a Eleme, Jihar Rivers, ita ce al’ummar da ke amfani da refinery ta Port Harcourt.
A ranar Talata, refinery ta Port Harcourt da ke da karfin samar da man fetur 60,000 ta fara aiki bayan shekaru da ta yi barakata, wanda ya jawo yabo daga manyan ‘yan Najeriya da masu ruwa da tsaki a fannin masana’antu.
NNPC ta ce cewa sabon tsarin gyarawa na tsohon refinery na Port Harcourt, wanda aka gyara da kai da na’urar zamani, yake aiki da kashi 70% na karfin da aka shirya.
Mgbere ya ce, ‘Ina iya cewa da ikon gaskiya a matsayina na wakilin al’umma, abin da ya faru a ranar Talata shi ne wasan kwa haka kawai a depot na Port Harcourt.’
‘Wasan kwa haka kamar yadda refinery ta Port Harcourt, munace ta ‘area five’, wato tsohon refinery, tana aiki ne a hali mai ban tsoro.
‘Ina nufin wasu sashen na refinery sun dawo kwanan nan kuma suna aiki, amma ba sashen kowanne na tsohon refinery yake aiki, kamar yadda muke magana.’
‘Na bashi NNPC yabo cewa sun fara wani abu, amma ba wai kamar yadda shugaban sashen hulda da jama’a na NNPC Limited, Femi Soneye, ya ce a kafofin watsa labarai cewa sun fara samar da galon 1.4m kowace rana. Haka bai kasance ba.’
