Remi Tinubu Tell Youths: Make Una Patient, Nigeria Go Better

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, don call on youths and Nigerians to be patient as the country dey undergo crucial reforms. She talk dis during her visit to the palace of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

Senator Tinubu say the current administration, led by President Bola Tinubu, dey work hard to address the challenges wey long plague the nation. She emphasize say the APC-led government dey committed to national development, despite being in office for just two years.

She acknowledge the removal of fuel subsidies, which don cause widespread debate and discontent, but she remain optimistic about the decision. According to her, dis move be part of the necessary steps toward long-term national growth. “We understand that the removal of subsidies has caused concern, but with God’s help, we are confident that in the next two years, Nigeria will emerge stronger and more prosperous,” she declare.

Senator Tinubu also draw comparison to the transformation of Lagos under the Tinubu administration, noting how skepticism turn into success. “When we began our work in Lagos, many doubted us, and we faced criticism. But look at Lagos today—it has become a self-sustaining city, generating its own resources. This same transformation can happen in Nigeria. We only need time and patience,” she assure.

She urge youths to key into several opportunities being made available by the Federal Government and to embrace the virtue of hard work. “For our youths, there is dignity in hard work, we are building a country where your creativity will be rewarded. God commanded humans to work in the Bible. God worked for six days and rested for a day. We must teach our youths how to work,” she say.

The First Lady also highlight a recent initiative where a young Nigerian designer win a N25 million prize for creating a design that has since been mass-produced and distributed. She announce an upcoming contest titled ‘Garden in the Home,’ aimed at promoting environmental sustainability, with a prize of N20 million for the winning design.
