Latifa’s message no fit hide the deep ache for her heart as she write, “It’s with profound sadness that I share that my husband, Jimmy Cliff, has crossed over due to a seizure followed by pneumonia.” (Chai! Na double wah). She thank everybody wey support him journey, especially him fans wey fill him heart with joy throughout him career.
Born James Chambers for 1944, Cliff was among di vibrant children wey grow up for St. James, Jamaica. As e small pikin, him don dey use im sweet voice dey sing for church. By 14, na so him don dey finish for di Kingston charts wey no be small when him drop “Hurricane Hattie”. Dis na how him journey begin oh!
