Joint security forces don successfully rescue six members of media crew wey hoodlums kidnap while dem dey travel from Lagos to Uyo along Isseke-Orlu Road in Anambra State.
The incident happen when the sports journalists, who be members of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), dey on their way to cover a football match.
According to reports, the kidnappers abduct the journalists, but joint security forces quickly swing into action and rescue six of them. However, one of the journalists, identified as Kola, no survive the ordeal.
The rescue operation involve various security agencies working together to ensure the safe release of the abducted journalists.
The Police Public Relations Officer for Anambra State, Ikenga, confirm the rescue in a statement, praising the efforts of the joint security forces for their swift action.
