Police for Abuja don arrest one suspect after dem engage in a fierce battle with kidnappers. The incident happen on Thursday, October 17, 2024, in one of the suburbs of the Federal Capital Territory.
According to sources, the police received a distress call about a kidnapping attempt in the area. Upon arrival, the police officers encountered the kidnappers who were trying to whisk away their victim.
The kidnappers, who were reportedly armed, engaged the police in a shootout. However, the police were able to overpower them and arrest one of the suspects while others escaped.
The arrested suspect is currently in police custody and is being interrogated to gather more information about the kidnapping ring and their operations.
The police have assured the public that they are working tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of residents in Abuja and to bring all perpetrators of crime to justice.
