Lagos State Police Command don confirm say one young woman wey her identity no dey known die for one hotel in Dopemu area of Lagos. The incident happen on Friday around 9:30 p.m. and e don raise plenty concerns because the man wey accompany her to the hotel run away before she die.
According to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, the hotel manager report the case to Dopemu Police Division. The manager talk say one man and one woman check into the hotel for short stay. After about one hour, the woman rush out of the room, complaining say she dey feel overheated.
The manager give her cold water, but her condition no improve. She was rushed to nearby hospital on Dopemu Road, where she was declared dead. The man wey bring her to the hotel flee the scene, leaving behind many unanswered questions about the circumstances leading to her death.
Lagos police don take the hotel manager into custody to assist with the ongoing investigation. The body of the deceased has been transferred to Lagos Mainland General Hospital mortuary for autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Efforts dey ongoing to uncover the woman’s identity and locate the absconding man, as authorities continue to probe the mysterious incident.
