For di November 15 convention wey happen for Ibadan, Oyo State, dis group of chieftains find demself in hot soup as dem dey face allegation of anti-party activities. Dem dey accused say dem dey hold parallel congresses, dey sponsor court cases, and dey push votes for opposition parties like say na dem get the party. E be like dem no sabi wetin dem dey do, abi dem just wan carry wahala come demself?
While dey address journalists, Turaki talk say dem need to clean di party ranks from those wey don dey waka against PDP own interest. “Dis expulsion na part of our plans to unite di party and forge ahead. PDP no go ever die. Na better party we get, e bigger than any individual. As things dey hot for PDP side, wey dem don dey shout ‘unity and discipline’, other parties dey look dem like say dem na lagbaja for corner. Dem dey watch dem with popcorn as dem try to settle dia internal affairs while di clock dey tick for di next elections. Na so politics be, if no be wahala, e no fit sweet pass!
