According to Ms. Anele, the fresh postings no be small matter, as e involve Principal Staff Officers (PSOs) at the Army Headquarters, General Officers Commanding (GOCs), Corps Commanders, training institution Commandants, and Brigade Commanders. Na serious restructuring wey fit change the game for better efficiency inside the Army.
Among the fresh appointments, Maj.-Gen. Adekunle Adeyinka dey take lead as Chief of Logistics (Army), while Maj.-Gen. A.A. Adekeye don land as Chief of Personnel Management. Those wey move around include Maj.-Gen. T.B. Ugiagbe, wey na new Chief of Standard and Evaluation; and Maj.-Gen. A.A. Idris, wey dey take charge as Chief of Military Intelligence (Army). Also, Maj.-Gen. M.O. Erebulu don take over as Provost Marshal (Army). Others wey dey jump positions include Maj.-Gen. E.A. Anaryu, who go handle Supply and Transport matters, and Maj.-Gen. J.E. Osifo, wey na new Director-General for Nigerian Army Finance Corporation. Dis one be big promotion, if you ask me!
As for the newly appointed GOCs, Maj.-Gen. A.S.M. Wase don enter the scene as the new GOC for 1 Division/Commander Sector 1, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, while Maj.-Gen. C.R. Nnebeife don assume GOC 2 Division/Commander Sector 3, same operation. Chai! Dem dey carry serious responsibility go now, no be play-play matter.
And make we no forget the training sector, because Maj.-Gen. M.O. Ihanuwaze dey now Commandant for Nigerian Army Finance School, while Maj.-Gen. K.O.
