One of de farmers talk say de government must do something urgent to address de issue of insecurity. She say dat without adequate security, farmers no go fit farm well, and dis go affect de overall food production in de country.
De rising costs of feed, medication, and other farm inputs also dey cause serious problems for de farmers. Dey say dat de prices of these essential items dey go up every day, making it difficult for dem to break even or make any profit.
De farmers are calling on de government to provide more support and protection for dem. Dey believe dat if de government can address de issues of insecurity and high costs, de poultry industry go flourish and contribute more to de country’s economy.
