Ogun Govnor, Dapo Abiodun, Approve N77,000 as Minimum Wage for Workers

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, don approve N77,000 as the new minimum wage for the lowest-paid workers in the state. Dis decision was announced on Monday, October 14, 2024.

According to the announcement, the new minimum wage is set to take effect immediately, marking a significant increase in the earnings of the state’s lowest-paid employees.

This move is seen as a step to improve the living standards of workers in Ogun State, given the current economic conditions in the country.

The Secretary to the State Government, Bala Ibrahim, is expected to provide more details on the implementation of this new wage policy.
