According to the Minister, this dry port, which dey located in Ogun State, go serve as a major hub for the transportation of goods from the seaports to the hinterland.
The Minister talk say the dry port go reduce the congestion wey dey the seaports and also make sure that goods reach their destinations quicker. This go also help to reduce the cost of doing business and make the economy grow faster.
Sambo also mention say the dry port project go create many jobs for Nigerians, both during the construction phase and after it is completed. This include jobs in logistics, warehousing, and other related sectors.
The Ogun dry port is part of the federal government’s plan to develop inland ports across the country to improve the transportation network and boost economic activities.
