Omo, e don land! The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) don drop fresh gist wey every fresh graduate go need to hear. Dem announce say the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation course go start for Wednesday, June 11, 2025, for all the NYSC camps across di country. If you don finish school and you dey ready to serve your fatherland, abeg no slack! Registration go begin that day, and by Friday, June 13, midnight, dem go close am. Me I dey feel say even if dem no talk, na so e go be.
Di swearing-in ceremony go happen on di same June 13 (mark your calendar, my people!), while dem orientation go end by Tuesday, July 1. No forget say every prospective corps member need to report to di camp wey dey inside their call-up letter. And if you go school for outside Naija, no leave your international passport behind o!
The NYSC tok say make everybody read their call-up letter well well, because dem get instructions wey you suppose follow. E no go sweet if you waka go camp come discover say you no meet di requirements. Plus, bikon, dem dey encourage you to use only transportation wey dey operate from government-approved motor parks. E fit save you from wahala (you sabi wetin I mean).
Dem also warn say make you no travel for night, because na there wahala fit catch you. If night don catch you while you dey travel, abeg find nearest military barracks, police station, NYSC secretariat, or corps lodge to sleep. Better safe than sorry, no be so?
As you dey prepare for registration, make sure say you carry your call-up letter (original copy na im dem go accept), your school ID card, degree certificate, and medical fitness certificate wey don get stamp from Nigeria Medical Association. If your own profession dey regulated like medicine or pharmacy, don’t forget to bring proof of registration from your professional body, or dem go suspect you dey play.
If you lose your call-up letter, no panic! Just follow the instructions: carry police report and sworn affidavit come do your backup work. If na your school give you di letter, go back make dem reissue for you. But if you print from online, just go back to di NYSC portal and reprint sharp sharp.
For the guys and babes wey get paddy (husbands/wives) or small pikin, wey don sabi say dem no go fit follow dem spouse when dem dey post dem; you fit report to di camp wey dey your current location. Just carry correct documents wey show your marriage, your husband’s ID, and where e dey live. Na di way!
And make I remind you, if you decide to play with di law wey dey protect di NYSC, just know say you fit face serious wahala if you no report or try to enter di service illegally. E go better for you if you follow di rules.
