NSCDC Stop Robbery for Osun, Recover Stolen Motor

On Saturday, October 12, 2024, around 3:25 a.m., the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun State Command, foiled an armed robbery attack in the Onibu-Eja community of Osun State.

A four-man gang of armed robbers had invaded a house in the area, stealing a vehicle at gunpoint from a family. However, the swift response of the NSCDC officers led to a fierce gun battle with the suspects.

The robbers, unable to withstand the firepower of the NSCDC, were forced to flee the scene, abandoning the stolen vehicle in the process. The recovered vehicle is a Toyota Corolla.

The NSCDC’s timely intervention has been praised for preventing further harm and ensuring the safety of the community. This incident highlights the ongoing efforts of the NSCDC to combat crime and maintain security in Osun State.
