Nadal, who is set to retire after di Davis Cup Finals in November, has been hailed by Djokovic and other tennis legends for his incredible career. Djokovic praise Nadal, saying, “You have inspired millions of children to take up tennis, which is perhaps di greatest accomplishment anyone could aspire to.” He also confirmed that he will attend Nadal’s final event in Malaga to pay his respects.
On di topic of di ‘Big Three’ – Djokovic, Nadal, and Roger Federer – Djokovic note that while there is a transition happening in tennis, it is not a strict ‘changing of the guard.’ He acknowledge di rise of younger players like Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner but emphasize that players like Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas are still competitive and will remain so alongside di newcomers.
