Kamfanin mai na gas na ƙasar Najeriya, Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), ya sake daukar matsayin man fetur, inda ya sauke daga N1,030 zuwa N1,060 kowace lita a Abuja, yayin da a Lagos ya sauke daga N998 zuwa N1,025 kowace lita.
Wannan karin farashin ya biyo bayan da aka yi a ranar 9 ga Oktoba, 2024, daga N897 zuwa N1,030, sannan kuma a ranar 2 ga Satumba, 2024, aka sake karin farashin man fetur daga N617 zuwa N897, wanda ya janyo zanga-zangar ƙasa da ƙasa.
Mahukuntan da ke kallon harkokin mai na Najeriya sun bayyana damuwa cewa hawan farashin zai iya kara tsananta matsalar hauhawar farashi a ƙasar, bayan da ya kai matsakaicin shekaru 28 (34.2%) a watan Yuni.
An yi wannan canji a ƙarƙashin manufofin gwamnati na deregulation, wanda ke ba da damar farashin ya canza bisa yanayin samarwa da neman.
Aliko Dangote, shugaban Dangote Group, ya kuma nemi masu sayar da man fetur, ciki har da NNPCL, su samu man fetur gida-gida daga masana’antar sa don cika bukatun gida.
Dangote ya tabbatar da cewa masana’antar sa tana da karfin samar da fiye da 30 million litres of fuel kowace rana, kuma tana da zali na 500 million litres, wanda zai iya kawo man fetur Ć™asar Najeriya na tsawon kwanaki 12 ba tare da shigo da man fetur daga waje ba.
