Kamfanin NNPC Ltd ya rage da farashin man fetur daga N1,025 kowanne lita a Lagos zuwa N925 kowanne lita, yayin da a Abuja farashin ya rage daga N1,040 zuwa N965 kowanne lita. Wannan rage-rage ya farashi ta faru a ranar Litinin, 23 ga Disamba, 2024, a matsayin babbar alheri ga ‘yan Najeriya da ke bukatar man fetur a lokacin yuletide.
Shugaban kamfanin NNPC Ltd, Mele Kyari, ya bayyana cewa an yi wannan rage-rage ne a matsayin alheri ga ‘yan Najeriya, da nufin rage farashin kayayyaki a kasar. Haka kuma, kamfanin Dangote Refinery ya shiga cikin wata hira da NNPC, inda ta fara sayar da man fetur a farashi mai arha, wanda ya kai N899.50 kowanne lita.
Wannan rage-rage ya farashi ya man fetur ta samu karbuwa daga manyan jama’a da kungiyoyi, ciki har da NLC, wanda ya bayyana cewa rage-rage ya farashi ya man fetur ita zama alheri ga ‘yan Najeriya. Kungiyar IPMAN ta bayyana cewa za a samu rage-rage da yawa a shekarar 2025, saboda yakin da ake yi na kawar da masana’antu daya kawai.
A wasu wuraren kasar, kamar Ibadan, NNPC Ltd ta fara sayar da man fetur a farashi mai arha, wanda ya kai N950 kowanne lita. Haka kuma, wasu kamfanonin man fetur kamar MRS Oil Nigeria Plc sun fara sayar da man fetur a farashi mai arha, wanda ya kai N935 kowanne lita.
