Lagos, Nigeria – Tension don dey rise between the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Dangote Group as the NLC don throw all dem weight behind NUPENG, wey be the Nigerian Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers. This matter don turn serious as NLC dey accuse Dangote say him dey practice anti-union strategy wey fit destroy the rights of workers.
According to Comrade Joe Ajaero, wey be NLC President, e don see plenty complaints from NUPENG wey provide solid evidence say Dangote dey carry out crude labour practices. Dem claim say e no only dey pay workers low wage, but e dey make life very hard for dem with unsafe working conditions. Na wetin dem dey call a full-blown declaration of war on the working class.
As Dem dey raise alarm, NLC declare say Dangote group dey use im power wey deep pass any magic to crush competition. Who no go talk say wahala don show? Dangote dey boast say e fit manipulate things because e sabi people for government and na him wey get plenty connections.
NUPENG don also shout say as Dangote dey hire drivers, dem dey force am to sign paper wey go deny dem our right to join unions. Na injustice! This matter no go be small as NLC don warn say if this trend continue, dem go mobilize all workers to fight back. E no go be jokes when we talk say worker no be slave!
Dem talk say na the same old saga wey dey play for confirm say Dangote group no too dey interested in providing decent work for Nigerian people. Instead of creating jobs, e dey exploit everything like say na market wahala. Wey dem promise say Dangote Refinery go create work, reality show say na impunity dey reign.
Reality don set in as NLC no wan let matter die. Dem dey call on Federal Government make dem call Alhaji Aliko Dangote and im people to order. E go better if all companies within Dangote group take union serious, because e go dey like say Nigeria dey run like slave plantation if dem continue for this anti-union waka.
NLC na no-nonsense organisation and dem don set Red Alert across labor unions. Say if Dangote no fit change im ways, wey all dey watch dem like hawk. Dis na serious matter, and e report say many other unions don almost dey wahala with Dangote for similar thing before.
E be like say dis fight no go end anytime soon as NLC and NUPENG don promise say dem go turn up the heat until dem get wetin dem deserve. No be so we go let few individuals dey chop Nigeria dry! We gatz gather together, workers! It’s time to show solidarity or we go keep dey hear stories.
In short, the NLC and NUPENG dey scream loud, say everyone wey believe workers get rights gatz stand up. We no go keep quiet while Dangote dey try manipulate the system. We gatz remind everybody say our rights no be negotiation, and we no go let our struggles go in vain.
