Nigerians Go Fit Get Passport for Phone, Laptop Now!

Abuja, Nigeria – E don finally land! Federal Government don talk say very soon, Nigerians go fit apply for their passports straight from their phones and laptops. No more wahala, just click and you dey good to go!

This gist come from Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who promise say we go fit get our passports within seven days after we don apply. (You hear am? Seven days! Na miracle?).

The minister show dis promise after e inspect beta new Data Personalisation Centre for Abuja headquarters. According to him, dis centre na “game-changer” for how dem dey produce passports for Nigeria. This one no be joke o!

Before now, dem dey use old machines wey fit process only 250–300 passports daily. But now, with dis new facility, dem fit produce around 1,000 passports per hour! Wahala no dey again, as dem go fit handle up to 5,000 passports in one day. (Na serious upgrade, my people!)

“For applicants wey get correct approval, your passport go dey ready in just 24 hours!” Tunji-Ojo talk with joy. Make una shine una eye o!

The new system na the first time e go happen since Nigerians start the NIS journey for 1963. E dey ready to give us world-class service wey dey match wetin dey happen for United States, United Kingdom, and other countries. (Na big level, if you ask me!)

Before this upgrade, dem dey print passports for about 96 centres all over Nigeria and other countries. But according to the minister, dis old way na “vulnerable and inefficient” – everybody dey collect money for nothing! But now, with automation, wahala go reduce, and e go easy like Sunday morning.

Plus, Tunji-Ojo talk say the government inherit backlog of over 200,000 passport applications. But this new beta system go do away with all di stress, as it dey help clear the backlog and make processes smooth like that palm wine wey dey sweet.

“The era of backlogs don end, my pipo. No more sleepless nights for officers, dem no go need to dey work overtime again. Dis system na fast, seamless, and accountable,” e finish talk amid laughter.

So get ready to say bye-bye to passport wahala. This one na good news wey go make our travel plans dey work like magic! Naija, we dey comot for jungle, no doubt!
