De Nigeria Governors' Forum (NGF) don express deep sorrow over de tragic death of 105 people wey happen for petrol tanker explosion on Tuesday for Majiya town, Jigawa State.
According to reports, de tanker explosion occur for Taura Local Government Area of Jigawa State, and it claim de lives of over 105 people, while about 55 others sustain various degrees of injuries and dey receive treatment at Ringim General Hospital.
Former President Muhammadu Buhari also join in de condolence, describing de accident as one of de deadliest tanker explosion tragedies in Nigeria recent history. He extend his heartfelt condolences to de government and people of Jigawa State, praying for de quick recovery of those injured.
De Public Relations Officer of Jigawa State Police Command, Shiisu Adam, confirm de casualty figure, saying 105 people die and 55 others injured in de explosion.
De NGF and other leaders across de country dey call for proactive measures to prevent such tragedies in de future.
