Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) sun yi nasarar kama wani dan kasar Thailand, Oguejiofor Nnaemeka Simonpeter, saboda zargin sa da ya kawo heroin mai ƙima da N3.192 billion zuwa Nijeriya.
An yi wannan kama a Filin Jirgin Sama na Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, a ranar Litinin, Oktoba 7, 2024. Oguejiofor, wanda ya kammala karatun Injinieran Mekaniki daga Jami’ar Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Uli, Anambra, ya bar kasar Thailand a ranar Oktoba 3, 2024, a kan jirgin saman Qatar Airways kuma ya tsaya Doha, Qatar, inda ya gaza kwanaki biyu kafin ya tashi zuwa Lagos.
Bayan isa Lagos a ranar Oktoba 5, Oguejiofor ya nemi kamfanin jirgin sama ya canza tufafin sa zuwa Nijeriya domin aje su a matsayin ‘rush bags’ a yunƙurin guje wa tace-tace na tsaro.
Amma ‘yan sandan NDLEA sun kama shi a wajen fita. Wani bincike da aka yi a tufafin sa ya bayyana cewa akwai backpacks shida da aka sanya heroin a ciki, wanda aka samu da jimlar kilo 13.30.
Oguejiofor ya ce an ba shi $7,000 domin ya kawo parceli biyu a Lagos da sauran huɗu a Accra, Ghana.
A cikin wani bayani da NDLEA ta fitar, an ce ‘yan sandan su sun kama kodiya mai ƙima da N22.7 billion a tashar jiragen ruwa uku tsakanin ranar Litinin da Juma’a, Oktoba 7-11, 2024.
An kuma kama wasu masu aikata laifi a jihar Anambra da Edo, inda aka samu tramadol da kwayoyin cannabis da yawa.
