Di Nigerian passport dey rank low for global mobility index, but Alma believe say e no fit limit wetin Nigerians fit achieve. She don experience visa rejections and extra scrutiny at borders, but she still dey determined. “I go make sure sey every border wey I cross go represent barrier wey don overcome for many people wey get di same passport as me,” she add.
Alma don work hard to organize her journey, arranging visas and confirming details for each stop wey go take her from Antarctica to Australia. Dis record attempt dey planned for March, and she don start generating support across social media with di hashtag #AlmaChasingContinents.
As she dey prepare for di journey, Alma dey hopeful sey her attempt go inspire many Nigerians and show say determination fit conquer any challenge. “When we go dey welcome as travelers instead of being seen as threats, e go change di whole narrative for Nigerians with weak passports,” she say.
