MultiChoice, de company wey dey run DStv and GOtv, don announce big changes for their sports channels. According to Tope Oshunkeye, de Executive Head of Marketing at MultiChoice West Africa, dem introduce new channel and rename some old ones from Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
De current SuperSport Select Channel now dey called SuperSport Africa. And dem also bring out new channel called SuperSport Action, which go show more sports content like UFC matches and extra Champions League games.
For GOtv users, de changes be like dis: On GOtv Jinja and GOtv Jolli packages, SuperSport Africa go replace Select 2 (Channel 64). On GOtv Max package, SuperSport Africa and SuperSport Africa 2 go replace Select 1 and Select 2 (Channels 63 and 64). And on GOtv Supa and SupaPlus bouquets, SuperSport Action go replace Select 3 (Channel 69).
Oshunkeye explain say de reason for dis change be to make their sports content better and give customers more exciting sports to watch. He say dem dey committed to giving de best sports action and always looking for ways to make customers happy with more choices and live content.
