Nigerian skit maker and content creator, Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, don talk say parents no suppose push their children too hard to dey imitate him skits for social media.
Recently, one video go viral where some kids dey imitate Mr Macaroni’s popular ‘Daddy Wa‘ skits, and many Nigerians no like am. Dem condemn the parents and handlers of the children.
In response to the viral video, Mr Macaroni use him social media platform to advise parents and guardians to be careful and not push their children too far just to show their talents.
Mr Macaroni write say, ‘Dear parents and guardians, I understand the urge to want to make the most out of our uniquely talented children. However, I strongly believe that we must apply caution while doing so.’
He emphasize say we must showcase their talents in ways appropriate for their respective ages and groom them right so their talents can last long, not just for a short viral moment.
He add say, ‘Children are uniquely gifted. While I believe in catching them young, I also understand that we must groom and direct them to create at a pace suitable for their respective ages.’
