Ministan Jiha na Albarkatun Man Fetur, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, ya yabi ayyukan NNPCL-First E&P Joint Venture saboda karbuwar samar da man fetur a filin Abigail Joseph FPSO a Bayelsa.
Lokpobiri ya bayyana haka ne a lokacin da yake yawon shakatawa a filin mai a Bayelsa, inda ya murna da ci gaban da aikin ya samu. Filin Abigail Joseph FPSO yanzu yake samar da man fetur 60,000 barrels kowace rana, kuma yana shirin karba zuwa 70,000 barrels kowace rana a lokaci mai zurfi, da kuma 100,000 barrels kowace rana a ƙarshe.
Lokpobiri ya ce, “Aikin da ake gudanarwa a nan yana nuna ƙoƙarinmu na gama gari don ƙara samar da man fetur a Nijeriya. Yana da ban mamaki in gan irin ƙoƙarin da NNPCL da First E&P suke yi, musamman First E&P wanda yake biye bayan kamfen din ninka gudanar da rami 23 don kiyaye da ƙara samar da man fetur.”
Ademola Adeyemi-Bero, Manajan Darakta na FIRST E&P Limited, ya tabbatar da ƙarfin gwiwar kamfaninsa na cimma burin samar da man fetur. “Muna ƙwazo sosai don cimma burin samar da man fetur na yanzu da kuma wanda zai zo. Tare da goyon bayan abokan aiki na mu da ayyukan de-bottlenecking da muke gudanarwa, muna imanin cewa zamu iya cimma 70,000 barrels kowace rana da kuma 100,000 barrels kowace rana a lokaci mai zurfi,” in ya ce.
Bala Wunti, Babban Jami’in Zuba Jari na Upstream na NNPC Upstream Investment Management Services (NUIMS), ya tabbatar wa Ministan cewa haɗin gwiwar NNPCL-First E&P ya dace da manufar ƙasa. “Alamun da aka samu a nan a Abigail Joseph FPSO shaida ne ga ƙoƙarin NNPCL na cimma sakamako ta hanyar haɗin gwiwa na hanyoyin dabaru,” in ya ce.
