Manufacturers for Nigeria dey cry out for help as dem demand tax relief from the government. Dis call come at a time when sales dey decline and businesses dey struggle to stay afloat.
According to reports, the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) has been urging the government to reduce the tax burden on manufacturers. Dem say the high taxes and other regulatory costs dey make it hard for dem to operate and keep prices low for consumers.
The association point out say the current economic conditions, including high transportation costs, energy crisis, and dollar appreciation, dey add to the challenges dem face. Dem believe say reducing taxes and other levies will help dem stay competitive and keep producing goods at affordable prices.
MAN also mention say the government’s support through tax incentives will go a long way in fostering growth and sustainability in the manufacturing sector. Dem hope say the government will listen to their plea and take necessary actions to ease the burden on manufacturers.
In addition, maritime operators also join the call, urging the Federal Government to tackle issues like fluctuating exchange rates which affect importation and overall business operations. Dem believe say addressing these issues will help boost economic activities and support the growth of various sectors, including manufacturing.
