One tragic incident wey happen for Lagos state na when one 45-year-old man, wey dem identify as Kazeem, drown inside river after him take hard drugs suspected to be Colorado.
The incident happen on Friday at about 11 am at Odo Tente, a boundary community between Lagos and Ogun states. According to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Kazeem, under the influence of the hard drugs, run uncontrollably and jump into the river, resulting in his death.
The Alagbado Police Division receive information about the incident and detectives from the division visit the scene, take photographs, and evacuate the corpse. Hundeyin say that Kazeem’s father, when contacted through phone, direct that the corpse should be buried immediately by the riverside according to their tradition.
The police say investigation is ongoing to get more facts about the incident.
