This prestigious award honors Messi for his extraordinary career, which has seen him accumulate an impressive 46 collective titles and 56 individual records, totaling 102 honors.
The ceremony, organized by MARCA, will celebrate Messi’s remarkable journey from his breakout at FC Barcelona in 2004, through his successful stint at PSG, and now his current achievements with Inter Miami. Messi’s accolades include eight Ballon d'Or awards, six Golden Boots, and the record for the most appearances in World Cup history with 26 games. He also led Argentina to victory in the 2022 World Cup and recently won the MLS Supporter’s Shield with Inter Miami.
The event at Chase Stadium will be attended by Messi’s family, members of the Inter Miami organization, including franchise owner Jorge Mas, and numerous media representatives. Juan Ignacio Gallardo, director of MARCA, and Jorge Mas will present the award to Messi. The ceremony will be broadcast live on all editions of MARCA, starting half an hour before the event.
