E be like say dem wan turn our traffic wahala to small wahala. Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, come talk say dem don already start preliminary work. According to the commissioner, dem go divide the work into two phases to make sure say road users no go suffer too much. Phase 1 go dey cover the stretch from Lekki first toll gate to Lekki second toll gate. Dem go work on seven sections wey go make am easy to pass. One lane go dey closed during this period but no worry, you go fit use the other lane. When dem finish with the lane wey dem close, dem go shift the work to the second lane. Na good news for Lekki and Ajah motorists, dem go still dey able pass without wahala.
For Phase 2, dem go cover the area from Lekki second toll gate go reach Ajah under-bridge, and this one go dey divided into four sections. As dem dey work on one lane, motorists from Ajah wey dey waka go Lekki go shift to just one lane. But no shaking, as dem dey fix one side, dem go make sure say the second lane dey smooth to go.
The commissioner come advise road users to show small patience and follow traffic directions during this time wey dem go dey repair the road. E no go easy, but dem dey try make sure say traffic flow no go turn to traffic jam. According to am, dis road rehabilitation na part of wetin Lagos State government dey do to improve road quality and make movement easy for we wey dey waka for the city.
This Lekki-Ajah road na major highway wey plenty people dey use every day, so e mean say when dem finish all this work, e go enhance road safety and help movement dey quick for everybody. You sabi say as we dey talk so, don’t think say dem dey sit down; Olorun! Dem even troway onother repair work for Marine Bridge wey happen last month for Ijora because wahala no dey finish for Lagos roads.
