Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, de former presidential candidate of de New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), don receive strong backlash from Alhassan Ado Doguwa, de Chairman of de House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream), over his recent statement.
Kwankwaso, while speaking at a political gathering in Kano on Thursday, say Nigerians, especially Northerners, dey tired of de All Progressives Congress (APC) and go change dem in de 2027 Presidential election. But Doguwa no agree with am.
Doguwa, in a statement, say Kwankwaso still dey recover from de defeat he suffer at de hands of President Bola Tinubu during de 2023 presidential election. Doguwa claim say Kwankwaso dey hallucinate about 2027 and should face his imminent retirement from politics.
“At a political gathering on Thursday, my colleague in de House of Representatives in de 3rd Republic, Kwankwaso, take his hallucination to de moon when he say Nigerians are tired of APC and will change it in 2027. As we all know, President Bola Tinubu no dey leave any stone unturned in his quest to return our country to de path of progress and prosperity for de benefit of all,” Doguwa say.
Doguwa also accuse Kwankwaso of remote controlling de Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, and say de NNPP government in Kano has already lost focus and fallen out with de people. “No matter de noise Kwankwaso make, de APC in Kano is already poised to unseat de kangaroo NNPP government in Kano State come 2027 following de non-performance, loss of people’s confidence and breach of electoral confidence of de NNPP,” he add.
De Deputy President of de Senate, Senator Jibrin Barau, also join Doguwa to tackle Kwankwaso. Barau say it would soon be rare to see anyone with a red cap, de symbol of de Kwankwasiyya Movement in Kano State, as many NNPP members are defecting to APC.
