Kaduna Govt Impose Movement Restriction For LG Poll

Kaduna State Government don announce restriction of movement for Saturday, October 19, 2024, ahead of the local government elections for the state. The restriction go start from 6am to 7pm to ensure say the elections go be peaceful and orderly.

The State Overseeing Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, make this announcement. He say that all vehicular movements, commercial activities, and other things that can disrupt law and order must stop during the specified hours.

Only people wey dey perform essential duties are exempt from this restriction, and dem must have proper identification and clearance to move during this period.

Residents have been advised to avoid any actions that could disrupt public peace or affect the smooth conduct of the elections. Security agencies have been deployed across the state to enforce the movement restriction and ensure compliance.

The public have also been urged to report any activities that threaten law and order to security agencies, and not to take laws into their own hands.
