Jubril Martins-Kuye Foundation, wata gida ce da aka kirkira a sunan marigayi Ministan Jiha na Kudi, Jubril Martins-Kuye, ta bayar bursari da dala N5m ga dalibai 21 na darasa na farko a fannin daktanci a Jami’ar Olabisi Onabanjo, Ago Iwoye, Jihar Ogun.
Wadanda suka samu bursarin sun kasance ‘yan asalin gundumar Ijebu-North, wanda suka wakilci jerin farko na shirin bursarin da Gbolahan Martins-Kuye, wani likitan daktari daga Amurka na dan marigayi ministan, ya dauki nauyin shi.
Martins-Kuye, a cikin sanarwa da Darakta na Media na NGO, Femi Adeleye, ya bayyana cewa bursarin an yi ni ne domin karfafa dalibai na kuma inganta fannin kiwon lafiya a yankin Ijebu-North.
“Wannan shiri ne da aka yi ni domin tallafawa dalibai su ci gaba da karatunsu da kuma samar musu da damar samun gaba a rayuwarsu,” in ji Martins-Kuye. “Na san tattalin arzikin ya yi tsanani… amma bursarin an yi shi ne domin tallafawa ku kuwa mai hankali a karatun ku da kuma samar mafaka mai kyau ga dalibai a shekaru masu zuwa.”
Koordinatori na shirin bursarin, Mr Emmanuel Ugwu, ya bayyana cewa shirin bursarin an yi shi ne kawai ga ‘yan asalin gundumar Ijebu North dalibai daktarai a OOU, Ago-Iwoye, kuma ya nemi wadanda suka samu bursarin su zama mai himma a karatunsu.
Shugaban kasa na Ijebu Descendants, Mr Taiwo Nodiru, ya yabu wanda ya kirkiri shirin bursarin, Gbolahan Martins-Kuye, saboda taimakon da ya bayar wa dalibai a lokacin da ake bukatar sa.
Daya daga cikin wadanda suka samu bursarin, Obabi Zainab Ayomide, daliba ce a shekarar 500 na darasa na farko a fannin daktanci, da Ogundipe Timothy, dalibi a shekarar 400, sun godewa JMK Foundation saboda tallafin da suka bayar.
