Jami'ar Abuja ta ce ba ta da biyayya a zaben mataimakin shugabanta, bayan da wasu malamai suka zargi majalisar gudanarwa da kaurin zabe.
Wannan zargi ta fito ne bayan malamai da dama suka nuna adawa a filin jami’ar, inda suka ce zaben da aka gudanar ba shi da adalci ba.
Alhaji Sadiq Kaita, shugaban majalisar gudanarwa, an zarge shi da yin kaurin zabe domin a naɗa Prof. Aisha Maikudi a matsayin mataimakin shugaban jami’ar, ko da yake ake zargin ba ta cika ƙa’idodin da aka bayar a cikin sanarwar aikin.
An yi zargin cewa Prof. Maikudi ta samu matsayinta na yanzu ta hanyar sauki, inda ta zama farfesa a shekarar 2022 kuma aka naɗa ta a matsayin babbar mataimakiyar shugaban jami’ar.
Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Abubakar Umarkari, ya ce a zaben mataimakin shugabannin jami’o’i a Nijeriya, babu wata doka da ta ce dole ne mai neman mukamin ya zama farfesa na shekaru 10 kafin a naɗa shi.
Ya ce, “Zaben mataimakin shugabannin jami’o’i a Nijeriya ana yin su ne kamar yadda doka ta bayar, kuma babu wata doka da ta ce dole ne mai neman mukamin ya zama farfesa na shekaru 10 kafin a naɗa shi”.
