HOUSTON (March 28, 2025) – Houston Dynamo FC don sign midfielder Ondřej Lingr from SK Slavia Prague for full transfer, both clubs announce today. The 26-year-old player go fit flex contract till June 2028, with options for 2029.

Lingr don gather 258 appearances across all competitions, scoring 55 goals and providing 14 assists with MFK Karviná (2017-20) and Slavia Prague (2020-23, 2024-25) for Czech Republic. The attacking midfielder help Slavia Prague lift three trophies – Czech First League (2021) and Czech Cup (2021, 2023), while winning the KNVB Cup and Dutch Super Cup with Feyenoord (2024).

For European competitions like UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League, Lingr don make 39 appearances, scoring three goals and getting one assist. Notably, he play all 12 matches for Slavia Prague in 2020-21 Europa League, where he score match-winning goal against French side OGC Nice to push team to quarterfinals against Arsenal FC.

Lingr dey part of Czech Republic national team, with 23 senior appearances since him debut in a 1-1 draw vs. Wales in March 2022. He don score him first national team goal in June 2024 during one 7-1 victory against Malta. Lingr don represent Czech Republic for EURO 2024 in Germany and show up for UEFA Nations League, UEFA Euro Qualifying, World Cup Qualifying and friendly matches.

Lingr dey join the Dynamo from Slavia Prague, where he don make 158 appearances for five seasons, scoring 43 goals and providing 10 assists. Before he join Dynamo, Lingr spend 2023-24 season with Feyenoord, featuring in 28 games and scoring four goals, including match-winning goal for semi-final of KNVB Cup against FC Groningen, which the club win over NEC Nijmegen. Lingr help the side finish second in Eredivisie and earn spot for UEFA Champions League next season.

Lingr start him professional career with Czech side Karviná in May 2017, where he make 72 appearances, scoring eight goals and recording eight assists.
