Residents for Bulumkutu, Abuja, Moduganari, Ngomari, and other riverbank areas wake up to see their houses full of water – na wetin dem go call early morning surprise? One resident, Ahmodu Ibrahim wey dey live for Bulumkutu talk say water don invade his apartment by 8 am. He carry im family run, saying, “I dey notice water don dey come in after one hour of heavy rain. Na im I carry my wife and pikin dem waka enter safe place.” E get as dem dey hustle to survive this kind wahala na.
Also, Aisha Suraju wey get shop say every item wey she get for im shop don turn to wet market! “My provisions, especially the ones wey dey on the floor, don start to swim for water,” she lamented with serious face. The Borno State Police Command talk say dem don mobilize officers gidigba for rescue operation. ASP Nahum Daso, wey be their spokesperson, confirm the matter say eight buildings don collapse, but thank God sey nobody don wound or die. Na wetin we go call miracle, abi?
