Gwamnatin Tarayya ta Najeriya ta sake yin alƙawarin kara kwarewa a fannin rural electrification ta hanyar samar da masana’antun wutar lantarki mai dabaru.
A cewar rahotanni, gwamnatin tarayya ta sanya hannu a kan yarjejeniya da Tarayyar Turai da gwamnatin Jamus don bayar da tallafin dalar Birtaniya £17.9m don tallafawa aikin wutar lantarki ba tare da grid ba a Najeriya.
Aikin da aka fara a karkashin zagayen uku na Shirin Tallafin Nijeriya na Makamashin (NESP) na nufin kara zuba jari a fannin makamashin mai sabuntawa, tsarin makamashin da kwarewa, da kuma rural electrification.
Inga Stefanowicz, Shugaban Sashen Green and Digital Economy a ofishin wakilai na Tarayyar Turai a Najeriya da ECOWAS, ta ce cimma gari mai tsabta shi ne aikin dukkan masu ruwa da tsaki. Ta ce Tarayyar Turai ta ci gaba da goyon bayan gwamnatin Najeriya don cimma tsarin makamashin mai tsabta ta hanyar kara yawan makamashin mai sabuntawa a cikin matakai.
A cewar ta, aikin zagayen uku zai baiwa mutane 154,000 damar samun wutar lantarki, yayin da mutane 30,000 za su samu damar amfani da gas mai tsabta don dafa abinci. Haka kuma, za a samar da megawatts 8 na wutar lantarki mai sabuntawa.
Johannes Lehne, wakilin darakta na Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, ya sake yin alƙawarin gwamnatin Jamus ta ci gaba da goyon bayan Najeriya don cimma burin canjin makamashin.
Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Power, Mahmuda Mamman, ya ce aikin zai taimaka wajen rufe gaggarar mutane 100 million da ba su da damar samun wutar lantarki a Najeriya.
