Governor Dem Attend Mama Funeral Wey Touch Heart for Katsina

Katsina, Nigeria – Prominent state governors Abba Yusuf of Kano and Umar Namadi of Jigawa were among the dignitaries who attended the funeral of Hajiya Safara’u Umar Radda, mother of Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda, on Sunday.

The funeral service, held on March 22, took place in Charanchi Local Government Area, where family, friends, and political associates gathered to pay their last respects. Hajiya Safara’u passed away at the age of 93, marking the end of a revered life dedicated to community service and family.

Governor Dikko Umar Radda expressed deep sorrow over the loss of his mother, stating, “My mother was a guiding light in our family and the community. Her wisdom and prayers have shaped who we are today. I will miss her dearly.”

In attendance were other prominent figures, reflecting the collective respect for Hajiya Safara’u’s contributions to society. Governor Yusuf of Kano noted, “Her legacy of kindness and service to humanity will always be remembered. We stand with the Radda family in this moment of grief.”
