Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, don set up one ten-man committee to make sure the new national minimum wage dey implemented well for the state.
This committee go work out the ways and means to ensure say the new minimum wage dey paid to all civil servants in Yobe State without any hitch.
The formation of this committee be part of the efforts by the Yobe State Government to comply with the federal government’s directive on the new minimum wage.
The committee go include representatives from different sectors, including government officials, labour unions, and other stakeholders, to make sure say everybody dey on the same page.
This move by Governor Buni show say the state government serious about improving the welfare of its workers and ensuring say they receive fair compensation for their work.
