Federal Government don dey vow say dem go deal with people wey dey give information to terrorists. Dis promise come from Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, as reported by Punch Newspapers on October 10, 2024.
According to Matawalle, government no go take am easy with anyone wey dey support or give information to terrorists. Dem say dis step na part of their plan to fight terrorism and insecurity for Nigeria.
Dis move come at a time when security challenges dey increase for some parts of de country. Government dey work hard to ensure say dem tackle all forms of terrorism and banditry.
In another development, Nigerian Army also dey make efforts to arrest and prosecute those wey dey involved in terrorist activities. For example, troops of 6 Brigade Nigerian Army recently arrest three suspected bandits and a key terrorist logistics supplier in Taraba State.
