Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security don dey empower over 25,500 youths and women from Niger Delta region to enter agriculture entrepreneurship. Dis initiative na part of government plan to boost agriculture sector and reduce unemployment among young people and women in di area.
Di empowerment program dey focus on training and equipping di beneficiaries with necessary skills and resources to start and manage their own agricultural businesses. Dis include access to land, seeds, fertilizers, and other essential inputs.
Di Minister of Agriculture and Food Security talk say di program aim to increase food production, improve livelihoods, and promote economic growth in di Niger Delta region. Dem also promise to provide ongoing support and mentorship to di beneficiaries to ensure their success.
Community leaders and stakeholders from di region welcome di initiative, saying it go help to address some of di socio-economic challenges wey di area dey face. Dem believe say empowering youths and women in agriculture go have long-term positive impact on di region’s development.
