FG Adopt 88 Int’l Standards for CNG Vehicle Safety

Federal Government don dey take serious steps to ensure say Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles dey safe for use in Nigeria. According to recent news, Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) don adopt 88 international standards for CNG products. Dis move na part of President Bola Tinubu‘s agenda to promote the use of natural gas in the country.

SON Director-General talk say dis adoption go help in ensuring say CNG vehicles and related products meet global safety standards. Dis go reduce the risk of accidents and make sure say Nigerians dey safe when dem dey use CNG vehicles.

Dis initiative also go support the growth of Nigeria’s natural gas sector, as more people go start to use CNG vehicles. SON believe say with these standards, Nigeria go move forward in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 9, which focus on industry, innovation, and infrastructure.

The adoption of these standards show say the government serious about improving safety and promoting sustainable energy solutions in Nigeria.
