FG Accuse Julius Berger of Play Politics, Threaten to Revoke Highway Contract

The Federal Government of Nigeria don accuse Julius Berger, one of the major construction companies in the country, of playing politics with the rehabilitation of the Abuja-Kaduna highway. This accusation come from the Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi, during the inauguration of the rehabilitation of the highway on Thursday.

Minister Umahi say that Julius Berger dey play politics to make the current administration look bad. He claim that the company dey make excessive demands which dey hinder the progress of the project.

The Minister threaten to revoke the contract if Julius Berger no change their attitude and cooperate fully with the government. He emphasize that the government no go tolerate any form of politics or delay in the execution of the project.

This development come at a time when the government dey push hard to improve the infrastructure across the country, especially the critical highways like Abuja-Kaduna road which dey important for both economic and social activities.
